Cavaliers lose 3-2 in District Finals

Richland Northeast varsity baseball team’s season ended on Friday night with a 3-2 lost to Belton Honea in the district finals. Northeast finished the year with a 18-9 record. On a night when pitching was at a premium and hits were hard to come by, senior Harrison Merck out dueled Travelers Rest pitcher Jonathan Ivey to get the win. Merck pitched a complete game 2-hit shut out for his 4th win of the season as the Cavaliers defeated Travelers Rest 3-0 to stay alive

Baseball defeats Broome in State Playoffs

Northeast eliminated the Centurions of Broome High School from the district playoffs with an 8-2 victory on Monday evening. Cavaliers come from behind to Win Regular Season Finale

The night did not start off well for the Cavaliers but ended with a good result – a win. The Eagles of Airport High school jumped off to a 4-1 lead after one inning then increased the lead to 6-1 after two innings. Neither team was able to score during the 3rd and 4th innings.

The baseball and softball games originally scheduled to be played tonight at A.C. Flora have been CANCELLED due to wet field conditions. The JV and Varsity softball games have been rescheduled for Wed, Mar 25th, 5:30/7:30. The boys & girls soccer games will still be played tonight as scheduled at Bolden Stadium.

Baseball defeats Dreher

Richland Northeast varsity baseball team defeated the Blue Devils of Dreher High School 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday evening raising their record to 5-2 overall, 2-0 in the region. Spring Sports Season Passes are now available for purchase. The cost is $30 per individual pass. Passes are good for all home regular season spring sport contests.
