Solid Win

The girls soccer team evened their record at six wins and six losses as they defeated Lower Richland, 5-0. Sophomore Jayla Lewis opened the scoring . Junior Rachel Skidmore also had a goal. Seniors Rose Needle and Bette Needle celebrated their 18th birthday  by scoring, Rose had two goals and Bette had one.

Lady Cavs top Falcons

The Richland Northeast Cavaliers traveled to region foe and neighbor A.C. Flora Wednesday night and came away with an 11-3 victory. Casey McCardell scattered 4 hits over 7 innings and picked up the win with an outstanding pitching performance. Coach Caldwell named All Star Coach

Richland Northeast High School’s head varsity girls basketball coach Precious Morris Caldwell has been named Head Coach for the Carolina All-Star Basketball Classic. Caldwell will coach the senior girls’ basketball players in South Carolina against the best senior players from North Carolina on Saturday March 28, 2015 at Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The Lady Cavaliers made it three wins in a row with a 21-1 victory over the Shamrocks at Eau Claire High School Monday afternoon. Friday Sports Weather Update

The baseball and softball games originally scheduled to be played tonight at A.C. Flora have been CANCELLED due to wet field conditions. The JV and Varsity softball games have been rescheduled for Wed, Mar 25th, 5:30/7:30. The boys & girls soccer games will still be played tonight as scheduled at Bolden Stadium.

Cavaliers defeat Red Hawks

RNE Lady Cavs defeated the Red Hawks of Westwood High School 17-2 in non-region play. Jo Jo Mock was the winning pitcher. Girls Soccer Dominate

The Lady Cavs soccer team dominated Westwood, 8-1. Junior Rachel Skidmore had a hat trick, Jayla Lewis added two goals, and Hannah Smith, Laura Pacheco, and Grace Harling each added one. The team now has a 5-4 record.

Baseball defeats Dreher

Richland Northeast varsity baseball team defeated the Blue Devils of Dreher High School 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday evening raising their record to 5-2 overall, 2-0 in the region.
