The scoring started early as Sr. Kelly Lifchez sunk a PK midway through the first half. The score became tied when RNE had an own goal. Three minutes into the second half, South Pointe went up when given a PK. The scored remained 2-1 until late in regulation time when Dashia Jackson drew another PK for RNE and Kelly Lifchez again sank it to even the score, 2-2. This set up the thrilling finish in the second overtime. The Lady Cavs are now 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the region.
