In a game that started with little heart and emotion the Cardiac Cavs overcame a slow start and 2 touchdown deficit to force overtime in the last minute of regulation. Once there the Cavs defense came up with 4 shut-out periods including a 4th and goal stand from the 1 inch line to give the offense an opportunity to win the game on an Alexander Wages touchdown and Jaime Williams 2 point conversion.
Playing in honor of Rob Lenoir there were many selfless heroes for the Cavalier B-Squad. After the 1st quarter the defensive line dominated the line of scrimmage and did not allow the Vikings to run the ball consistently while forcing multiple 3 and outs and turnovers. Jalon Young and Darrien Lyde had especially big games while Charles Thomas did not leave the field. The offensive line was equally as dominant 300 yards rushing half of which was earned by Tyquandre Davis who had the cavaliers first touchdown and a multitude of hard runs.
The entire team played tremendous team football and incredible plays were made throughout the night.
